Our granulated panela comes from the state of Oaxaca, Sierra Norte region and is known as JAVA. The granulated panela is a powdered product obtained by the open evaporation of the juice of the cultivated sugar cane, and solidified through the nopal slime.
This process is in no way subjected to refining, centrifugation, purification or other industrial processes for sugar. The powder is free of additives, which gives it an original flavor and is nutritious. It is not refined or centrifuged so it has a high molasses content.

Production: A group of 10 producer families supply our panela. The cultivation of sugar cane has been at the heart of the tradition of the Mexican people for several centuries.
A plantation has an average of 2000 plants / ha, each family owns an average of 0.5 ha.
Origin: Our granulated panela is grown in the state of Oaxaca, in the Sierra Norte region.
Flavor: original and nutritious.
The traditional "piloncillo" and the sugar cane liquor.
The finished panela is stored in traditional wrappers made from palm leaves.

Panela sugar is made between the months of March and May, sales and shipping between June and July.
Annual production volume currently between 3 and 5 tons per year.
